Jak często tworzycie coś dla samej przyjemności? Jak często kusi Was, żeby wykonać pracę w ulubionym klimacie, ale odkładacie to na kiedy indziej? Nawet najbardziej pragmatyczne osoby powinny czasem nie kierować się użytecznością przedmiotu.
Nasza projektantka Paulina MaloMalo.pl, uwielbiająca zjawisko iryzacji – czyli ubarwienie strukturalne – postanowiła przestać opierać się chęci wykonania projektu w tym klimacie. Bazę Pszczoły Steampunk z hdf pokryła pastą strukturalną i maskami. Ponadto dodała gazę oraz mikrokulki w kilku rozmiarach. Całość pomalowała bazową czarną farbą, a następnie wykorzystała turkusowy wosk oraz opalizujące farby akrylowe w odcieniu fioletowym, różowym, srebrnym i zielonym do wydobycia struktury. Po wyschnięciu pracy dodała drobne koraliki tzw „benzynówki” oraz iryzującą sieczkę (podłużne koraliki) zazwyczaj wykorzystywaną do tworzenia biżuterii.

How often do you create something just for the pleasure of it? How often are you tempted to make a work in your favourite climate, but you put it off for another time? Even the most pragmatic people should sometimes not be motivated by the usefulness of an object.
Our designer Paulina MaloMalo.pl, who loves the phenomenon of iridescence - that is, structural colouring - decided to stop resisting the urge to do a project in this climate. She covered the base of the Steampunk Bee from hdf with structural paste and masks. In addition she added gauze and micro beads in several sizes. She painted the whole thing with base black paint and then used turquoise wax and iridescent acrylic paints in purple, pink, silver and green to bring out the texture. Once the work was dry, she added small beads called "petrol beads" and iridescent chopped beads (oblong beads) usually used to create jewellery.
