Zima zbliża się wielkimi krokami, w oczekiwaniu na pierwszy chłód porządkujemy podwórka i ogródki, by niebawem powitać pierwsze przymrozki. Jako dzieci zapewne każde z Was z wielkim utęsknieniem czekało na zimę i szklące się piękne wzory namalowane na szybach. Pod każdym kątem inaczej mieniły się i czuć było blisko okien zimno.

Z pomysłem na malowany mrozem kalendarz adwentowy przychodzi do Was nasza koordynatorka Agnieszka - Akami Handmade.

Agnieszka do jego wykonania użyła bazy tekturowej w kształcie choinki. Sklejoną bazę zabezpieczyła białym gesso. Przód drzewka pokryła tuszem w odcieniu przydymionego szkła. Przez maskę naniosła srebrną pastę modelującą, która przywodzi jej na myśl wzory, jakie maluje mróz na szybach. Projektantka, marząc o białych świętach, poszła o krok dalej i pokryła krawędzie kalendarza pastą imitującą śnieg oraz pastą z kryształkami. Wyszło śnieżnie i mroźno.

Przy dekorowaniu szufladek Agnieszka od początku nastawiła się na najnowszą kolekcję papierów naszej siostrzanej marki Lexi Design - "Carol of the Elves". Jej serce skradły klasyczne motywy na papierach i subtelne akwarelowe grafiki Renaty Masłyk. A jeśli chodzi o papiery "Carol of the Elves" to i tekturki z tej kolekcji. Kalendarz adwentowy powinien być z upominkami, więc warstwowy elf odczytujący listę prezentów oraz wózek z podarunkami pasują tu doskonale. Z arkuszy 01, 03, 04, 05 wycięła kwadraty o wymiarach 4,2 cm x 4,2 cm, które przypasowała na fronty szufladek i odcięła nadmiar papieru. Wycięła mniejsze grafiki z arkuszy 01 i 03 oraz z okładki, następnie przyozdobiła nimi owe szufladki. Nie mogło również zabraknąć tekturek śnieżynek oraz tekturek liczb, które projektantka pokolorowała markerami. 

Zamiast tekturek możecie użyć grafik z cyframi dostępnych w kolekcji "Christmas in Town". Pamiętajcie - gesso, to nie tylko biała farba, spełnia ono funkcję warstwy uszczelniającej, chroni podłoże przed wchłanianiem farby, np. bez gesso farba przesiąkłaby i nasze bazy tekturowe mogłyby się rozwarstwiać.

Winter is fast approaching, in anticipation of the first chill, we tidy up yards and gardens to welcome the first frosts soon. As children, each of you probably longed for winter and beautiful patterns painted on the windows. From every angle they shimmered differently and it felt cold near the windows.

Our coordinator Agnieszka - Akami Handmade comes to you with an idea for a frost-painted advent calendar.

Agnieszka used a chipboard base in the shape of a Christmas tree to make it. She secured the glued base with white gesso. She inked the front of the tree in the shade of smoked glass. Through the mask, she applied a silver modeling paste that reminded her of the patterns frost paints on windows. The designer, dreaming of a white Christmas, went a step further and covered the edges of the calendar with a paste imitating snow and a paste with crystals. It was snowy and cold.

When decorating the drawers, Agnieszka focused on the latest collection of papers from our sister brand Lexi Design - "Carol of the Elves" from the very beginning. Her heart was stolen by classic motifs on paper and subtle watercolor graphics by Renata Masłyk. And when it comes to "Carol of the Elves" papers, there are also chipboards from this collection. An advent calendar should be with gifts, so a layered elf reading the gift list and a gift cart fit perfectly here. From sheets 01, 03, 04, 05 she cut out squares measuring 4.2 cm x 4.2 cm, which she fitted to the fronts of the drawers and cut off the excess paper. She cut out smaller graphics from sheets 01 and 03 and from the cover, then she decorated these drawers with them. There could also be chipboards of snowflakes and chipboards of numbers, which the designer colored with markers.

Instead of chipboards, you can use graphics with numbers available in the "Christmas in Town" collection. Remember - gesso is not only white paint, it acts as a sealing layer, protects the substrate against paint absorption, e.g. without gesso, the paint would soak and our chipboards bases could delaminate.

Aż ślinka leci...Until the saliva flies...

Witajcie, 

Chcielibyśmy dziś zabrać Was w podróż do dziecięcych lat. Na stolnicy nasze mamy ugniatały ciasto, do którego dodawały pięknie pachnące przyprawy. We wspólnym gronie ozdabialiśmy je lukrem. A z biegiem lat dołączyły kolorowe posypki, kolorowe perełki, gwiazdki, pisaki, które miały metaliczny odcień. Nasza wyobraźnia coraz bardziej rozbudzała się, a na ciasteczkach, zwanych piernikami zaczęły pojawiać się coraz bardziej urozmaicone scenki. Ta frajda z wycinania kształtów, ten zapach unoszący się w kuchni, a potem radość ściągania ich z choinki. To magia, która towarzyszy nam do dziś. 

Dziecięce marzenia stały się realne i chatki z piernika mogą dziś zdobić również Wasze domy. W związku z tym z prezentacją przychodzi do Was dziś Paulina - MaloMalo.pl, która zaprezentuje kalendarz adwentowy w kształcie chatki z piernika.

Do wykonania tego projektu posłużyła Paulinie baza z tektury w kształcie domku z piernika. Projekt ten jest super prosty, a jednocześnie bardzo efektowny i co najważniejsze możecie śmiało wykonać go razem z dziećmi. Na samym początku wszystkie części chatki Paulina pokryła farbą akrylową w kolorze "pierniczkowym". Następnie i tu uwaga, praca wyłącznie dla dorosłych - wszystkie elementy lukrowane na domku zembossowała na gorąco pudrem w kolorze białym z drobinkami złota. Lizak razem z laską cukrową również zostały pokryte embossingiem w kolorze bieli, bieli z drobinkami oraz brązu tak by pasowały do całości. Wisienką na torcie są liczby, które pokryte embossingiem wykańczają pięknie poszczególne szufladki. Prawda, że na widok takiej chatki ślinka sama leci?

Today we would like to take you on a journey to your childhood years. On the pastry table, our mothers kneaded the dough, to which they added beautifully fragrant spices. Together, we decorated them with icing. And over the years, colorful sprinkles, colorful pearls, stars, felt-tip pens that had a metallic shade joined. Our imagination was more and more awakened, and more and more varied scenes began to appear on the cookies called gingerbread. The fun of cutting shapes, the smell wafting in the kitchen, and then the joy of taking them off the Christmas Tree. This is the magic that accompanies us to this day.

Children's dreams have become real and gingerbread huts can also decorate your homes today. Therefore, today Paulina - MaloMalo.pl comes to you with a presentation, which will present an advent calendar in the shape of a gingerbread house.

For this project, Paulina used a chipboard base in the shape of a gingerbread house. This project is super simple, yet very effective and most importantly, you can do it together with your children. At the very beginning, all parts of the hut were covered by Paulina with acrylic paint in the "gingerbread" color. Then and here attention, work only for adults - all the elements iced on the house were hot embossed with white powder with gold particles. The lollipop together with the candy cane have also been covered with embossing in white, white with particles and brown so that they match the whole. The icing on the cake are the numbers, which, covered with embossing, beautifully finish individual drawers. Is it true that at the sight of such a cottage, the mouth flies by itself?

If you do not have embossing powders, paint the frosted elements with white acrylic paint, then spread some brown paint on the aluminum foil and gently tap the individual elements with a dry sponge, we guarantee that the effect will be similar to our designer's design. So who's getting ready for the gingerbread madness first?

W zeszłym miesiącu pokazywaliśmy Wam pierwszy kalendarz adwentowy i chcielibyśmy kontynuować ich temat. Tym razem skupimy się na nowym kalendarzu, który kilka dni temu zagościł na naszej stronie internetowej. A mianowicie mamy na myśli kalendarz z zaprzęgiem Świętego Mikołaja. Każde dziecko marzy o tym, by wsiąść do niego i razem ze świętym rozwozić prezenty. Wyobrażacie sobie minę dziecka, dla którego został stworzony? My tak. Kalendarz ten będzie pełen  niespodzianek, a w dodatku brokatu. 

Przedstawieniem tego cuda zajęła się Paulina - MaloMalo.pl, która przygotowała dla Was bogaty opis.

Paulina bazę HDF pomalowała na początek czarną farbą akrylową. Jeśli jej nie macie, możecie użyć czarnego gesso. Jako że, Paulina lubi eksperymenty (mieliście okazję się o tym przekonać) następna była zabawa z foliami do złoceń. Do niej użyła Mixtionu - kleju pozłotniczego, pasty klejącej 3D, kleju do zdobień foliowych do paznokci oraz popularnego Magica, aby uzyskać różne efekty. Widzicie oczyma to, co my, ten blask i błysk? Zapewne tak. Następnie projektantka dla utrwalenia bazy polakierowała ją specjalnym lakierem do złoceń na bazie rozpuszczalnika. Daje on nie tylko piękny połysk, uwydatnia złocenia i co najważniejsze zabezpiecza je na lata. Nie wiemy, czy wiecie, że bez zabezpieczenia płatki metalu utleniają się i przy tej pracy popsułoby to końcowy efekt. Na jeszcze mokry lakier rzuciła styropianowe brokatowe srebrne kulki w różnych rozmiarach, aby te przykleiły się do jeszcze lepkiego podłoża. W plecach kalendarza wywierciła niewielki otwór, przez który umieściła światełka led w górnej jego części. Dołożyła również opalizujące na fioletowo białe sianko.

Poszczególne szufladki kalendarza od środka Paulina pomalowała na turkusowo, a od zewnątrz na czarno farbami akrylowymi. Na zewnętrznych ściankach szufladek, poza złoceniami i srebrzonymi cyframi, przykleiła mikrokulki, oraz hologramowe ozdoby do paznokci w odcieniach różu, fioletu i bieli. Dodatkowo spontanicznie umieściła pomalowaną na złoto tekturkę śnieżynkę z kolekcji "Arctic Sweeties".

Last month we showed you the first advent calendar and we would like to continue their theme. This time we will focus on the new calendar, which appeared on our website a few days ago. Namely, we mean a calendar with Santa's sled. Every child dreams of getting into it and delivering gifts together with the saint. Can you imagine the face of the child for whom it was created? We do. This calendar will be full of surprises and glitter.

This wonder was presented by Paulina - MaloMalo.pl, who prepared a rich description for you.

Paulina first painted the HDF base with black acrylic paint, if you don't have it, you can use black gesso. As Paulina likes experiments (you had the opportunity to find out), the next thing was to play with foils for gilding. For it, she used Mixtion - gilding glue, 3D adhesive paste, foil glue for nail art and the popular Magic to get different effects. You see with your eyes what we see, this glitter and glitter? Probably yes. Then, to fix the base, the designer varnished it with a special solvent-based gilding varnish. It not only gives a beautiful gloss, enhances gilding and, most importantly, protects it for years. We don't know if you know that without protection, the metal flakes oxidize and with this work it would spoil the final effect. She threw styrofoam glitter silver balls in various sizes on the still wet varnish so that they would stick to the still sticky surface. She drilled a small hole in the back of the calendar, through which she placed the LED lights at the top of it. She also added iridescent purple and white hay.

Paulina painted the individual drawers of the calendar turquoise from the inside and black from the outside with acrylic paints. On the outer walls of the drawers, apart from gilding and silver-plated numbers, she glued microbeads and hologram nail decorations in shades of pink, purple and white. In addition, she spontaneously placed a gold-painted snowflake chipboard from the "Arctic Sweeties" collection.
