Witajcie,

Kochani dziś chcemy Was zainspirować do poszukiwań przepięknych bombek. Wiecie, że w Polsce pierwsze sygnały o bombkach zanotowano w pierwszej połowie XIX wieku, a największa fabryka bombki powstała w Miliczu w 1951 roku i prosperowała nieprzerwanie aż do 2008 roku. Przepiękne, różnokolorowe i co najważniejsze ręcznie malowane tak kojarzą nam się bombki.

Jak co roku wieszamy je na choince, a nasza koordynatorka Agnieszka z Akami Handmade co roku przygotowuje do swojej pracy jakąś ozdobę. Pracuje w laboratorium, więc ozdoba ta nie może być zbyt okazała. Tak więc w tym roku wybrała jedną z naszych tekturek, a mianowicie bombkę na stojaku z kolekcji "Christmas in Town". Ozdobi ona biurko w laboratorium.

O to, co pisze: "Niewielkie rozmiary to i plus i minus. Niewiele trzeba do ozdobienia. Niewiele też można dodać, pilnując przy tym równowagi całości. Stworzyłam więc dwustronną kompozycję z kwiatami poinsecji, gałązkami starodrzewu, jemioły i iglaków wyciętych wykrojnikiem, kilku kulek głogu i wstążki".

Oczywiście przed przystąpieniem do pracy, Agnieszka za pomocą nożyka do tapet odcięła poszczególne elementy z tektury i je skleiła klejem Magic. Następnie pomalowała je i zabezpieczyła jednocześnie białym gesso. Instrukcję składania tekturki znajdziecie pod tym linkiem:

gdy całość przeschła pokolorowała ją markerami i musnęła woskami. Niby prosto, a zarazem bardzo efektownie. Kolejnym etapem było wycięcie wykrojnikiem w papierach gałązek starodrzewu, jemioły i iglaków. Posłużyły tutaj papiery perłowe do wizytówek w kremowo-śnieżnej tonacji oraz pastelowe jasnoniebieskie. Podobnie projektantka postąpiła z poinsecją tym razem używając białego foamiranu, którego środki pomalowała jasnoniebieskim tuszem, układając płatki jeden na drugim. Na środku wkleiła pasujące kolorystycznie pręciki kwiatowe. Do stworzenia całej kompozycji użyła również sizalu, wstążki vintage oraz śnieżnych owoców głogu.

Dear friends, today we want to inspire you to look for beautiful baubles. You know that the first signals about baubles in Poland were recorded in the first half of the 19th century, and the largest bauble factory was established in Milicz in 1951 and prospered continuously until 2008. Beautiful, multi-colored and most importantly hand-painted, this is how we associate baubles.

As every year, we hang them on the Christmas tree, and our coordinator Agnieszka from Akami Handmade prepares an ornament for her work every year. He works in a laboratory, so this decoration cannot be too grand. So this year she chose one of our chipboards, namely a bauble on a stand from the "Christmas in Town" collection. It will decorate the desk in the laboratory.

About what she writes: "The small size is both a plus and a minus. You don't need much to decorate. You can also add little, while paying attention to the balance of the whole. So I created a two-sided composition with poinsettia flowers, twigs of old trees, mistletoe and conifers cut out with a die, a few balls hawthorn and ribbons".

Of course, before starting work, Agnieszka cut off individual elements from the chipboard with a wallpaper knife and glued them together with Magic glue. Then she painted them and secured them with white gesso at the same time. Instructions for folding the chipboard can be found at this link:

when everything was dry, she colored it with markers and brushed it with wax. Not simple, yet very effective. The next step was to cut twigs of old trees, mistletoe and conifers in the paper with a die. Pearl papers for business cards in cream and snow tones and pastel light blue were used here. The designer did the same with the poinsettia, this time using white foamiran, the centers of which she painted with light blue ink, stacking the petals one on top of the other. In the middle, she glued matching color flower stamens. To create the whole composition, she also used sisal, vintage ribbon and snow hawthorn berries.

Malowana mrozemPainted with frost

Witajcie, 

Zima zbliża się wielkimi krokami, w oczekiwaniu na pierwszy chłód porządkujemy podwórka i ogródki, by niebawem powitać pierwsze przymrozki. Jako dzieci zapewne każde z Was z wielkim utęsknieniem czekało na zimę i szklące się piękne wzory namalowane na szybach. Pod każdym kątem inaczej mieniły się i czuć było blisko okien zimno.

Z pomysłem na malowany mrozem kalendarz adwentowy przychodzi do Was nasza koordynatorka Agnieszka - Akami Handmade.

Agnieszka do jego wykonania użyła bazy tekturowej w kształcie choinki. Sklejoną bazę zabezpieczyła białym gesso. Przód drzewka pokryła tuszem w odcieniu przydymionego szkła. Przez maskę naniosła srebrną pastę modelującą, która przywodzi jej na myśl wzory, jakie maluje mróz na szybach. Projektantka, marząc o białych świętach, poszła o krok dalej i pokryła krawędzie kalendarza pastą imitującą śnieg oraz pastą z kryształkami. Wyszło śnieżnie i mroźno.

Przy dekorowaniu szufladek Agnieszka od początku nastawiła się na najnowszą kolekcję papierów naszej siostrzanej marki Lexi Design - "Carol of the Elves". Jej serce skradły klasyczne motywy na papierach i subtelne akwarelowe grafiki Renaty Masłyk. A jeśli chodzi o papiery "Carol of the Elves" to i tekturki z tej kolekcji. Kalendarz adwentowy powinien być z upominkami, więc warstwowy elf odczytujący listę prezentów oraz wózek z podarunkami pasują tu doskonale. Z arkuszy 01, 03, 04, 05 wycięła kwadraty o wymiarach 4,2 cm x 4,2 cm, które przypasowała na fronty szufladek i odcięła nadmiar papieru. Wycięła mniejsze grafiki z arkuszy 01 i 03 oraz z okładki, następnie przyozdobiła nimi owe szufladki. Nie mogło również zabraknąć tekturek śnieżynek oraz tekturek liczb, które projektantka pokolorowała markerami. 

Zamiast tekturek możecie użyć grafik z cyframi dostępnych w kolekcji "Christmas in Town". Pamiętajcie - gesso, to nie tylko biała farba, spełnia ono funkcję warstwy uszczelniającej, chroni podłoże przed wchłanianiem farby, np. bez gesso farba przesiąkłaby i nasze bazy tekturowe mogłyby się rozwarstwiać.

Winter is fast approaching, in anticipation of the first chill, we tidy up yards and gardens to welcome the first frosts soon. As children, each of you probably longed for winter and beautiful patterns painted on the windows. From every angle they shimmered differently and it felt cold near the windows.

Our coordinator Agnieszka - Akami Handmade comes to you with an idea for a frost-painted advent calendar.

Agnieszka used a chipboard base in the shape of a Christmas tree to make it. She secured the glued base with white gesso. She inked the front of the tree in the shade of smoked glass. Through the mask, she applied a silver modeling paste that reminded her of the patterns frost paints on windows. The designer, dreaming of a white Christmas, went a step further and covered the edges of the calendar with a paste imitating snow and a paste with crystals. It was snowy and cold.

When decorating the drawers, Agnieszka focused on the latest collection of papers from our sister brand Lexi Design - "Carol of the Elves" from the very beginning. Her heart was stolen by classic motifs on paper and subtle watercolor graphics by Renata Masłyk. And when it comes to "Carol of the Elves" papers, there are also chipboards from this collection. An advent calendar should be with gifts, so a layered elf reading the gift list and a gift cart fit perfectly here. From sheets 01, 03, 04, 05 she cut out squares measuring 4.2 cm x 4.2 cm, which she fitted to the fronts of the drawers and cut off the excess paper. She cut out smaller graphics from sheets 01 and 03 and from the cover, then she decorated these drawers with them. There could also be chipboards of snowflakes and chipboards of numbers, which the designer colored with markers.

Instead of chipboards, you can use graphics with numbers available in the "Christmas in Town" collection. Remember - gesso is not only white paint, it acts as a sealing layer, protects the substrate against paint absorption, e.g. without gesso, the paint would soak and our chipboards bases could delaminate.

Jesienny dekor na rozecieAutumn decor on the rosette

Za oknem widać, jak delikatnie na wietrze powiewają pożółkłe liście drzew, jarzębina otula swymi czerwonymi koralami całą zieleń, gdzieniegdzie z ukrycia widać czerwonawe kapelusze muchomorów, a pod dębami swoją szlachetnością cieszy borowik. To oznaka, że do lata musimy czekać cały rok.

Aby umilić Wam i waszym dzieciom te chwile, Agnieszka z Akami Handmade zaprasza do zapoznania się z Jej inspiracją.

Zobaczcie, co napisała Agnieszka: "Lato się skończyło i czas zmienić dekoracje w pokoju dzieci. A forma rozety, którą prezentowałam w grupie inspiracyjnej latem, tak mi się spodobała, że jesienna scenka również została zbudowana na bazie rozety. Skoro jesień to kolekcja 'Pumpkin Seed' siostrzanej marki Lexi Design. 

Do stworzenia rozety zużyłam cały arkusz nr 08, pocięty w paski szerokości 10 cm i zbigowany co 1,5 cm. Jako tło kompozycji wybrałam cudną akwarelową grafikę Renaty Masłyk z arkusza 05. Tekturki 1, 2 z kolekcji Hello Autumn z warstwowymi kasztanami i żołędziami pomalowane markerami stworzyły kontury kompozycji. Pomiędzy nimi przykleiłam sizal i ułożyłam na nim warstwowo dary jesieni. Grafiki te znajdziecie na arkuszach 06 i 10. Całość poprzetykałam mchem. Dodałam również ramkę z uroczą jesienną dziewczynką z taga na pasku nr 5 i pasujący tekturkowy napis. Ramkę pomalowałam pastą z efektem rdzy i przetarłam pastą do efektu patyny. Wyszło oryginalnie, trochę jakby omszałe".

This means that we have to wait a whole year until summer.

To make these moments more pleasant for you and your children, Agnieszka z Akami Handmade invites you to familiarize yourself with her inspiration.

See what Agnieszka wrote: "Summer is over and it's time to change the decorations in the children's room. And the form of the rosette, which I presented in the inspirational group in summer, I liked so much that the autumn scene was also built on the basis of the rosette. Since autumn is the 'Pumpkin Seed' collection of the sister brand Lexi Design.

To create the rosette, I used the entire sheet no. 08, cut into 10 cm wide strips and folded every 1.5 cm. As a background for the composition, I chose the wonderful watercolor graphics of Renata Masłyk from sheet 05. Chipboard 1, 2 from the Hello Autumn collection with layered chestnuts and acorns, painted with markers, created the contours of the composition. I glued sisal between them and layered gifts of autumn on it. These graphics can be found on sheets no. 06 and 10. I filled the whole thing with moss. I also added a frame with a cute autumn tag girl on strip 5 and a matching chipboard inscription. I painted the frame with a rust effect paste and rubbed it with a patina effect paste. It came out original, a bit mossy. "

kwiatków różnego rodzaju, wyciętych z arkusza listków oraz wstążki 'gnieciuszki'.

She used a few wedding chipboards from Laserowe Love, which she covered with ink,
