Easter is almost two months away, but you are probably planning to send Easter cards to your friends and family. Now is the time to buy materials and find an idea. If you don't have an idea, our educator Beata Koraliki Beaty has prepared for you a step by step course on how to make an Easter card in DL format with a background made with alcohol inks.

You will learn how in a few simple steps you can prepare a unique card that will make your loved ones happy.

Przygotuj potrzebne materiały – papiery do tuszy, tusze alkoholowe, bazę kartki, wycięte elementy do ozdobienia kartki, napis, tekturka np. wianek.

Prepare the materials needed - inking papers, alcohol inks, card base, cut out pieces to decorate the card, lettering, chipboard such as garland.

Na papierze daj kilka kleksów z tuszu. Poczekaj aż się rozleją i ciut podeschną.

On the paper, give a few blobs of ink. Wait for them to spread and dry a bit.

Dołóż krople drugiego koloru.

Add drops of the second color.

Dokładaj na zmianę kleksy. Możesz lekko obracać kartką, możesz dmuchać na tusze, by szybciej wyschły i rozlewały się w różne strony.

Take turns adding blobs. You can rotate the paper slightly, you can blow on the inks to make them dry faster and spill in different directions.

Żeby zmieszać kolory i rozlać je mocniej, używaj blendera do tuszy. Gdy całą powierzchnię kartki zajmą rozlane tusze, odczekaj chwilę, by praca przeschła.

To mix the colors and spill them more strongly, use an ink blender. When the entire surface of the card is covered with spilled inks, wait a moment for the work to dry.

Na miejsca gdzie widać, że tusz jest jeszcze mokry, nałóż złote płatki. Dociśnij je do pracy, żeby się dobrze wkleiły. Poczekaj aż cała kartka wyschnie. Przetrzyj palcem, żeby nadmiar złotka usunąć. Możesz użyć również folii termoton.

Apply gold flakes to areas where you can see the ink is still wet. Press them against the work so that they stick in well. Wait until the whole card is dry. Wipe with your finger to remove excess gold. You can also use thermotone foil.

Wytnij pasujący kawałek i naklej na dystansie na bazę kartki. 

Cut out the matching piece and glue on the spacer to the card base.

Naklejaj pasujące elementy – świąteczne zwierzaki, wianki, kwiaty.

Glue on matching items - Easter animals, garlands, flowers.

Naklej wianek z tekturki tak, żeby był dobrze widoczny.

Glue the chipboard garland so that it is clearly visible.

Wszystkie elementy - oprócz tekturki - naklejaj na dystansach, żeby uzyskać efekt wypukłości. 

Glue all the pieces - except the chipboard - on spacers to create a raised effect.

Doklej napis z życzeniami.

Attach the inscription with Easter wishes.

W centrum wyeksponowała model 3d jeepa. Ścianki zdobią kultowe modele aut, królujące na polskich drogach w latach 70' czy 80' poprzedniego stulecia. Tekturki aut potraktowane pudrem do embossingu wyglądają jak lśniąca karoseria. Pasta strukturalna oraz tekturki trybiki ułożone pod autami stworzyły oryginalne tło. Doing an artwork for a man can be a challenge. Unless you can reach for Laserowe Love papers from the Vintage Gentelman collection and enrich the whole with Laserowe Love chipboards.  And in Laserowe Love offer you can find men's chipboards dedicated to different professions and passions. The 3d chipboard will prove especially useful as the main element of an exploding box. This is shown by our designer Tatiana Yasinskaya, who made an exploding box for a car fan. In the centre she exposed a 3d model of a jeep. The walls are decorated with iconic car models that reigned on Polish roads in the 70s and 80s of the previous century. The chipboards treated with embossing powder look like a shiny car body. Structural paste and chipboard cogs placed under the cars created an original background. When a small child appears in the family, it is a great change not only for parents but also for siblings. The love, which is given to such a little one, can't often be described in words. Sometimes this love can be captured on the photo. It is worth to give such a photo a beautiful and durable frame. Laserowe Love hdf bases will be a great choice and they have a huge selection.

Kartki ślubne to zwykle bogate kompozycje, pełne kwiatów 3d. Ale co jeśli nie macie czasu tworzyć takich kwiatów, albo nie potraficie tego? Możecie stworzyć bogatą kompozycję układając wiele warstw papierów poprzetykanych tekturkami, wstążkami, gazą, gipiurą, wycinankami odbitymi stemplami.

Hello Friends! Wedding cards are usually rich compositions, full of 3d flowers. But what if you don't have time to create such flowers or you can't do it? You can create a rich composition by arranging many layers of papers interspersed with cardboards, ribbons, gauze, guipure, stamped cut-outs. Today Manufaktura Anety inspires with a set of three wedding cards: a square card, a DL format card and a screen card. She used sister Lexi Design's "Home Sweet Home" collection. The cards are richly embellished, layered with splashes of Ecolina. In the square card, sheets from the "Home Sweet Home" collection were layered, gauze and lace were added, cut out elements from the "Home Sweet Home" collection sheet, "leaves" stamp prints and Laserowe Love chipboards. In the DL format card, sheets from the "Home Sweet Home" collection are layered, gauze and lace are added, cut-out elements from the sheet from the "Home Sweet Home" collection, stamp prints "leaves" and the bride and groom, and Laserowe Love chipboard: frame and inscription In the card-paravan, sheets from the "Home Sweet Home" collection are layered, gauze is added, cut out elements from the sheet from the "Home Sweet Home" collection, stamp prints "leaves" and the bride and groom and Laserowe Love chipboard. Inside, there is a place for your wishes (with the Laserowe Love chipboard painted with watercolor) and a place for cash.

Basing on one collection of papers and a few types of accessories I managed to create spacious and very different cards. And none of them has 3d flowers. And you? Do you build compositions based on 3d flowers or do you arrange many layers of papers?
